THIS IS MY 257th !!! PANORAMA PHOTO PUBLISHED IN THE WILMINGTON NEWS JOURNAL IN THE "DELAWARE" SECTION SINCE APRIL, 2011.

The huge WWII guns at Fort Miles in Cape Henlopen State Park on the coast of Delaware were intended to defend against an invasion, which fortunately never came.
