Artist Reply: Thank you, Cousin Julie! There are a lot of old photos of Indians from 100 years ago... such a treasure. I grew up in Iowa just north of the Tama Indian reservation. I remember going to see an Indian Dance done to the loud rhythm of drums. I could feel the sound waves go through me.
