This is an example of trompe l' oeil in painted surfaces. Done directly onto concrete in acrylics, this illusion of inlaid exotic marbles was very effective in creating an elegant interior for a fraction of the cost of real marble and labour. Completed in 36 hours. Sealed with clearcoat acrylic for foot traffic. Easy to clean.
