Pablo Picasso did a similar work during what is referred to as his Blue period. I like the eyes.

Artist Reply: I still have (I think) a pencil sketch from high school of Picasso's The Blue Guitarist. Of course, I also sketched Nancy Sinatra from the LP cover of 'These Boots Are Made For Walking' around the same time so I've always been rather eclectic. Hope you are doing well, Stan.
