Rabelos on the Douro

The flanks of the river Douro in Portugal are famous for their vineyards. More specific for the grapes from whome the wellknown Port-wines are made. In the old days the harvest was transported to the seaport town Porto by those typical sailingboats, called: rabelos. Today those boats are only used for the show. Image size: 260 x 360 mm
