It's very telling, I think, that as I've not been painting but working on the sculpture, drawings have been pouring out this month. How many times a day do we as a collective have 'a match head moment?' This is a gel pen drawing on medium bond paper measuring approximately 6 by 8 inches. Original Jones Art? I'm staking my life on it. :)

For a short time I worked as a salesman for the Acme Fireworks company. Their biggest sales were Ohio Blue Tipped Matches. When I saw the title I thought of this. .It is good work though I had thought you were using a dip pen as I used to for the studio.

Artist Reply: Hey, Stan! Thanks for your comment. My drawing pen of choice these days is one I get eight to a package at Dollar Tree. These gel pens cost, before tax, twelve and a half cents each. Gel ink is color fast and fade resistant and I can get several medium sized drawings from a single pen. Believe me, I've tried a LOT of pens over the years. :)
