This could very well be my last drawing before becoming 'free' of my last place of employment. At the time, I was very much like the being I drew. Even though folks would never exactly describe me as taciturn, I was in the unenviable position of having the hold my tongue at almost every turn. And when I did speak, many times my words went unheeded or were themselves considered suspect. It's very sad when a person of my integrity and intelligence finds himself in such a closed and limited environment. Need I say more? This drawing was made on the back of a Subway sack which I had saved. They no longer use these butcher paper type sacks; the new sack is white and with less tooth. They don't take the ink the same, needless to say. This drawing measures 8 by 6 inches roughly. I hadn't looked at it for awhile and when I did, I liked it enough to upload. I hope you agree that this is yet another inimitable example of Original Jones Art from Austin, Texas.

love it. what's the biographical percentage?

Artist Reply: I would say we all keep mum on occasion, Nikolay. Sometimes it's for the best and sometimes it could probably be classified as a 'sin of omission.' That said, I think knowing when and when not to let sound out is a learned behavior. :)

I think I know this guy, he sure looks familiar

Artist Reply: There's probably a little bit of him in all of us, Ron. BUT I did get the moniker 'smart alec' pretty early on. Destry sure needs to ride again, I'm thinking. Hope you are doing great and having a great Holiday Season. :)
