I have had some old plastic eyeballs from a Halloween string of lights for some time. The lights gave up the ghost long ago. Then I did a drawing that reminded me of them. Anyway, the base houses the batteries and on/off switch. I found a string of 10 LED lights at a local store and the rest, they say, is just a lot of work. I used my 'special compound' again for this. I had originally thought of calling it' Eye Totem,' then I thought 'Eye Rise' might work but then a friend of mine, Joel G., stopped by and suggested 'Eye-tenna'---you know, for antenna. It is 32.25 inches tall and the base is 5 inches wide. If this isn't Original Jones Art with just a bit of cheese added, well, I probably need to adjust my 'Eye-tenna.'

I am so honored. (no sarcasm), (well, maybe just ever so slightly, just to appear cool.) Talk to you soon.

Artist Reply: Hey, Joel! You've joined the ranks of Art (un)Wanted---or you'd have been Mr. Anonymous---like we intrinsically evil folk are all eventually. ;) The powers that be have moved the Summer Show back into August which would be cool if it wasn't so HOT. Ha!
