This was going to be a much more complicated piece with lips, nose and eyes but ended with me incessantly botoxing the lips.. As such, I began looking at the lips as an end unto themselves. I looked on-line for lips sculptures and didn't find anything like it so here it is, finally. It's 19 inches wide, around 8 inches from top to bottom and between 7 and 8 inches deep. With pedestal and extending rod, it stands 16.25 inches high. If this isn't Original Jones Art in all its marvelous imperfection then my name isn't Albuquerque Slim and it isn't, not really. Addendum: This piece was chosen for AVAA's 'For The LOVE Of Art' exhibit February 2020. The reception was just last night. I found it interesting that folks referenced The Rolling Stones and Rocky Horror Picture Show instead of actually studying my piece.

This is fun, makes me smile!

Artist Reply: I can't tell you how many hours I spent adding to the fullness of those lips. I try not to calculate time spent. I can tell you I spent weeks working on several pieces, this being the first I've considered finished enough to upload to AW. Hope you are doing great, John. :)
