Buick sales literature called the Invicta the most “spirited” Buick, probably due to a 401-cubic-inch V-8 that delivered 325 horsepower. Owner analysis mentioned its 1959 tail fin-era styling, smooth performance, affordability & comfort. It was also big, clumsy & thirsty...not considered a "great Buick” because workmanship was down compared to the mid-'50s Buicks. Personally, it has interesting lines & was fun to draw.
