I think this condition neutralizes a lot of good intentions---or bad. It depends upon the way you look at it. One side wants to break out of a certain nonproductive pattern, the other side is reticent to do so. One side wants a spontaneous and perhaps violent conclusion, whereas the rational side says no. Remember the cartoons where a devil sits on one shoulder and an angel on the other? This is a 6 by 4 inches gel pen drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Is Original Jones Art trying to tell us something? Ask the guy sitting in the house, typing on the keyboard in northwest Austin, Texas.

booth vision...voce e' muito criativo...sorry...

Artist Reply: No need to apologize, Maria. Say it in your own language and I'll use Google Translate. Also I might learn a little of your Portuguese. It's a beautiful language, BTW. And thank you for the best compliment you can give an artist. :)

It is maybe so that the devil ánd the angel wish you a all the luck in this new upcoming year; Me more humble wish you a lot of creative strength ! ( and the best wishes from the Netherlands; we have the bést wishes - Arjen Lubach- ). Your art-brother behind the dunes.

Artist Reply: I would imagine the two, angel and devil, offer opposing ideas when it comes to 'good' luck and probably cancel each other out. SO a wish for 'creative strength' is better, Erik. And I thank you and wish it right back at you for this impending threat of a coming year. :)
