There's the 21 gun salute which is reserved for a person of merit, one would suppose. But I think I'd prefer a 20 heart salute at my send off. Maybe everyone blowing a kiss in unison who has gathered. The way it looks now, that assembled multitude could be counted on two hands. Alas! The frame is made of wood which I gessoed and painted. I used acrylic, watercolor brush pens and color gel pens for the image inside the heart-shaped window. The outside dimensions of the frame is 7.75 by 7.75 inches, so it isn't very large. But it IS some more of that heartfelt Original Jones Art coming from the northwest corner of Austin, Texas. Addendum: This piece was chosen for AVAA's 2020 'For The LOVE Of Art' exhibit. It was bought by a lovely lady, I am happy to say.
