Facial recognition software must be very advanced. There are so many subtle variations in every face, so many intricate parts. I am working on a new 3D project and as I was waiting for segments to dry, I sketched on a 3 by 2 inches notepad. I'll admit to throwing a handful away but these fifteen were good enough to keep as reference material. See anyone you know? They can't ALL be variations of Original Jones Art as he looks out his front door at the cloudy sky in northwest Austin, Texas.

That took a lot of work and it is very well done! The faces are amazing.

Artist Reply: Thank you, Ginger! Recently another AW artist asked me when did I start 'making faces,' as she put it. I asked her to look over my galleries to see the evolution over time. I think I've always been interested in how a personality is revealed, to some extent, through the face and how so much is also hidden. For some a face is merely a mask to hide behind while for others it is an open to door to their soul. I'm glad you like them. :)
