These are more of my face drawings on the 3 by 2 inches notepad paper. The paper actually has a bluish tone which the scanner seems to have obliterated---or at least, neutralized. I'm working on a large 3D piece and the sketches fill in the moments between working on that. What else IS there for Original Jones Art to do now that he's in self-arrest mode in northwest Austin, Texas. Actually, he's pretty used to solitary confinement, truth be told.

And again: a feel of Africa in these mask-type images. Hope you're not affected by the virus and its crown:)

Artist Reply: Seems the whole world has or will be affected, Nikolay, though it hasn't touched me on a personal level as yet. I like to 'assemble' faces like visual puzzles. You don't have to play by the rules---in fact, if you are prone to, the result is usually less than satisfying.

It's kind of like a fraternity yearbook :D Hope you're staying well, try relocating during this zombie apocalypse...I mean pandemic!

Artist Reply: Excepting I was (and still am) the antithesis of such organizations, Sara. And most frat boys have a more 'vacant' expression, in my experience, than my little collection has. ;) Hope you are weathering the invisible storm in fine fashion---with a colorful boa and platform heels. Ha! Just kidding--or am I just kidding myself? Blame it on 'cabin fever.' :) PS: My machete, pickaxe and shotgun are all near at hand---just in case.
