Abstract 5 Painting & COVID-19 Poem

"Abstract 5" I painted this, this morning using pearlized acrylic paints and 2 sizes of white glitter & I wrote Poem COVID-19 Fri. night after I went to bed. COVID-19 These are times of sheltering in place; of quarantining and a slow pace. When we shop, we find many shelves bare; hoarded by people who do not care. The stock market is free falling down, day after day with no more rebound. Though we isolate from each other, our common bond is like a brother. We are all fighting COVID-19, so from each other we quarantine. COVID-19 holds us all captive spending our days being inactive. With all the world, we do share this fight but our own days are really quite trite. It is suspected stronger we’ll be and perhaps forming a closer we. We must remember all the ones lost for they did pay the ultimate cost. Sharon De Vore
