This is, obviously, another in the envelope series. I drew the figure on the right first and then about an hour later, I drew the second. The funny thing is how the two intersected. This was a total accident but it, somehow, connected the two. The envelope is roughly 4 by 9 inches. I used my usually gel pen. This is Original Jones Art contemplating the importance of coincidence in northwest Austin, Texas. Should I have turned left in Albuquerque in 1972?

I AM A FIRM BELIEVER AND CHAMPION OF ENVELOPE ART...BEEN THERE & DONE THAT---BUT NOT AS NICELY AS YOU....KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND STAY TRENDY MY FRIEND!!!!

Artist Reply: I'm a firm believer on drawing on anything available and I like the 'tooth' you find on generic envelopes. Go figure, Elton. And whenever I feel I'm getting 'trendy' that's usually a sign I should change course. :)
