We found a gorgeous painted turtle. He was a good size about 8 inches long. He was in our yard last year!

WHEN I WAS A CHILD AFTER AN HURRICANE AND FLOODING WE FOUND A TURTLE LIKE THIS ONE .. WE RESCUED HIM .. NAMED HIM TATOU ..AND HE LIVED WITH US FOR A LONG LONG TIME ...MY AUNT HAS A BIGGER ONE HE IS SO OLD WE DON'T KNOW HOW OLD HE IS ...

They are fresh water so they are great with people ,very docile ,great in a backyard pond.
