This is a slight, ever so slight, reference to Eliot's The Hollow Men but I truly don't think our headpieces are filled with straw. Alas, I think maybe digested straw might be more accurate. But I have been known to take a metaphor to it's darkest place and THEN turn out the nightlight. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil...As always, this is Original Jones Art still attempting to justify itself in northwest Austin, Texas.

the RAY HAS SPOKEN CHARLIE--WHERE IS MY NEW COFFEE CUP???? SEND IT POST HASTE..I"M BREWING A BATCH EVEN AS WE SPEAK---BUT

Artist Reply: Hey, Elton, I'm afraid getting a cup to you in the time it takes to brew a carafe of joe may prove problematic. Interesting how much more refined my color pencil has become since I uploaded this piece. I feel obliged to pull it out and work on it again now that I have my 'new' color pencils. PS: I purchased a cup with one of my images early on and the graphic looked good. It was a medium-sized ceramic mug which, unfortunately, has been chipped and I now use it to hold brushes. :)

Artist Reply: Hey, Ray! You're on a roll. So is this guy. ;) Maybe AW can oblige you? Stay safe!
