Artist Reply: Hello, Ms. Holliday: Thank you for your comment. That middle section of the Yellow River is located between two relatively poor provinces of China. Therefore, one cannot find snowy mountains nor modern buildings nearby. That scene was keeping nature at its best.

Artist Reply: I appreciate your observation and comment. That was the typical color of Yellow River. Its water was running toward the left-lower corner, which became a forceful waterfall.
