This one came about a little differently. Instead of using my usual gel pen, I started with a BIC Round Stic ballpoint pen. It went on lighter and looked to be more grayish than blue. I'm on an -ish kick, it seems. This piece measures 11 by 8 inches on medium bond acid-free paper. I used gel pen and color pencil as well as the Bic. This is Original Jones Art trying variations on a theme in northwest Austin, Texas.

This surrealist style is truly spectacular. You have captured the essence perfectly. Definitely a touch of Dali. Love it Charles

Artist Reply: Thanks for the glowing remarks, Kevin. This was something of an experiment and has its good points and not-so-good points but I thought the good out did the bad. It's 'definitely' one of mine---so I have no one but myself to blame. Hope you and yours are doing great today, BTW.

I LIKE HIS FEIGNED SMILE ..

Artist Reply: Thanks so much, Marie! Yes, the mouth as much as the eyes tells a lot about a person's attitude and/or mood, I think. Hope you are having a creative day, BTW. :)
