When I was working my 9 to 5, I was so very time conscious always checking the watch or whatever clock I passed. Now that I'm not, it is easy to lose track of time, that thing we invented so we can time ourselves and others. Is 3 o'clock tea time in Britain? Well, I make sun tea when the sun is out, a green tea that is supposed to be good for me. I drink it in the late afternoon and evening and coffee when I get up each day---whatever time that is. But I am still time conscious just not in the way I was when I was on someone else's time. It's my time now and every moment is precious and work should still be done. Only now, it's MY work. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil. It's some of that me-time work that Original Jones Art produces in northwest Austin, Texas.

How very apt Charles. Know the feeling. Now l am retired through disability, don't really need to worry about time, but as l cannot sleep, l usually end up watching the clock all through the night.
