This is a picture my wife took after i picked up this little snake. He swam all the way across a lake and I picked him up and allowed him to rest before he continued his journey.

Artist Reply: I know a lot of people who hate snakes. I'm a snake lover. I always pick them up and get to know them when I see one (if he's not poisonous). Not too many venomous snakes in my area now.
