Wow! What excellent work you do! You must have the patience of Job! I watched a couple of your videos and I suppose now I know why I love to paint! My pencil work does not compare to yours!!! Whip it on there and be done is my method, works better with paint rather than pencil. Your patience is what results in awesome images. This one is fantastic! You have soooooooo much talent!

Artist Reply: Ginger, again thank you so much. When I draw, it's a very emotional process. I explained a bit in my blog that drawing is also a form a therapy for me. It allows me to cope and heal. Drawing is also very spiritual for me, it's just me and GOD. Sometimes I laugh, sometimes I cry but each line I make, each pencil mark is a stepping stone along my journey of healing and self compassion.

Great work Rick. I see this and I can hear “ Ol Mack the Nife”...thanks for taking me down memory lane

Artist Reply: Nat, thank you...this was fun to do. I love this era, the music back then was more emotional and had meaning, not like today. I love 'Mack the Knive"...thank you so much again for viewing my work.
