I visited the gardens of Leonardslee in Sussex with my elderly mother during which we stopped for a sandwich and I made a sketch. A couple of years later, I made the paintings from this sketch, and hope that viewers will enjoy the lively dotted surface, which gives the feeling of particles of pollen floating in the air.
