Letting Light Back In

Yes, thankfully, there is a glimmer of light at the end of the pandemic tunnel. Our world now looks very promising with the Covid-19 vaccines being made more readily available to people, and work places, public places, more schools opening back up for in-person learning, masks wearing restrictions being lifted especially when outdoors, and vaccinated people being able to interact more closely/physically with family and friends. It feels good to be able to venture out more again, but with continued health and safety practices in place. I used the Paint program on my computer to create this artwork that shows a silhouetted person at the window of his/her home, opening the curtains, pulling up the window shade, and letting the 'light ' symbolizing hope, faith, and positivity back in his/her mindset, and getting ready to venture out more after being 'hunkered down' at home for many months due to health and safety factors associated with the coronavirus pandemic. May we also keep in our thoughts and prayers the people of India and Brazil who are currently dealing with tragic death tolls and critical heath/safety challenges of the coronavirus.
