Medieval Castle of Carcassonne in Southern France

The beautiful medieval Templar Castle of Carcassonne in southern France near the Pyrenees mountains. The last stronghold of the warrior monks, possibly the greatest fighting men in the Christian world of the day. Also the first bankers.
