The landmark Morro Rock stands majestically in Morro Bay which is situated on the California central coast. I painted this in oils on a gallery wrapped canvas and I chose this format to bring the estuary and still waters from the area of Los Osos. Sand dunes stretch from Montana de Oro all the way to the rock where it meets Morro bay Harbor.
