Florence Griffith Joyner painting

This is an acrylic painting I did in 1999 of the late Florence Griffith Joyner. I was so happy to display this painting at the Women's Cancer Resource Center in Berkeley a few years ago. It was very painful to see someone so young to be taken away so soon.

A most admirable portrait artwork Cheryl. I recently read in a newspaper that actress Tiffany Haddish is planning to portray Florence Griffith Joyner in a movie biography.
