Medea

I found this piece of wood board at a local second-hand workshop. It has so many holes on it, just like it is wounded. So I added some blood. I thought it fits these characters, Medea, which is a sad, angry, and hurt woman. Once in a public health speech, the professor said " When we think about the health of women globally, it is important to think about women as people, not just the reproductive issue. “ That's part of the reason I like “Medea”. She is not one of those perfect mothers only existing in fantasy. She has also anger and regret, which makes her somehow real. I really love the performer of Medea. Her voice is like a knife cut into the dark theater, powerful and full of feelings.
