You know, folks don't do a lot of objective reasoning coupled with close observation. Everything for most is colored by the subjective, by the need or want of 'me.' So it's the sugarcoated reality that gets more play between their ears than the nitty-gritty of living useful lives the few years between birth and death. If you mention the cold hard facts you are being morbid and a real downer. Oh, well. Like the old song goes, "Different strokes for different folks.' But it does make it more difficult to get things essential done or do much more than talk about sports or the weather. I don't 'do' sports, so I'm pretty much left with the weather. This is a 7 by 5.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on heavyweight acid-free paper. And it's more of that deceptively simple visual communication from Original Jones Art as he wonders 'where have all the flowers gone' in northwest Austin, Texas.
