An elegant Woman rests upon a rock with a background of animated ocean waves, illuminated by the bright summer sunshine. My desire was to capture, how the senses respond in the presence of the music of the sea, the warmth of the sun, the scent of the ocean, the cooling breeze and ocean spray. My ambition was to capture in paint, an uplifting feeling that natural beauty can bring. The ocean was painted loosely to reflect the ever changing appearance of the colors and shapes of the ocean.
