The way I do things, this series could go on indefinitely. Or, at least, as long as I do. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil and some acrylic marker on manilla paper. Original Jones Art always going back to his roots in northwest Austin, Texas. And, ladies, I'm not referring to those which reveal true color about two weeks into a dye job. Nope, not THOSE roots.

Charles, I think it's more the dark area around his left eye. Very noticeable and I'm drawn to it. I like the colored image much better than the b/w although the b/w is good too.

This is one I keep returning to. Something beguiling about the image. My fav and PIC.

Artist Reply: You can see, Ginger, that the color redo is very close to the original quick sketch in B and W. And yet there's something more inviting in the color version---something around the eyes and mouth, I think. Thanks for commenting! :)
