I wrote a poem many years ago that had one eye glistening in the three o'clock sun and an English professor of mine thought it was about the crucifixion. It was actually just a lot of word play. I neither admitted nor denied his assumption at the time. Prof Whitbread remained an active teacher at UT until just before he died in 2016. I last saw him around 1977. Rest in peace, Sir. You were a little creepy at times but I can still smell that pungent cigar of yours. This is a gel pen with charcoal pencil drawing measuring 8.5 by 5.5 inches on medium bond paper. Yes, Original Jones Art has been been bitten hard by the nostalgia bug lately in northwest Austin, Texas.
