I did a quick sketch in 202o and only dug it out of the pile today. It dawned on me that the Mr. Potato Head debacle must have been in the news about the time I sketched it. I sort of liked the idea and so tried for a larger more complicated re-do. I originally thought of doing it in B and W only but opted to put a little color in during the process. This is a 9 by 6 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil and a bit of white acrylic paint marker. It's some of that Original Jones Art that continues to pile up in northwest Austin, Texas.

Great stuff as always, Charles. Wonder where your imagination taps inspiration from. Wish rgw source never dries off, primarily, in the New 2022.

Artist Reply: Some days the old imagination needs jumper cables, Nikolay. But I can usually pull something out of the old grab bag. Hope all is great in your hemisphere. :)

I'd say he's almost pretty! Great job.

Artist Reply: The fact that he, she or it is 'almost pretty' is what this image pivots upon, Ginger. It's what made me want to expand upon when I looked at the original sketch. I will scan and upload it to the project images soon. Hope all is good at the Ginger end of things today. :)

I don't recall it being quite in this form, missing a few parts, but would keep this generations attention,I suppose.,,,,nice work Charles

Artist Reply: The old expression 'The more things change, the more they stay the same' doesn't seem to apply as much as it used to, Al. To say that all things 'human' are in flux at the moment would definitely qualify as an understatement, I think. :)
