The day started off nice with some sun but a cold front moved in a few hours ago. I had to bring in my 3D project for fear of rain. So I sat down and drew something. Hmmm. This is what I drew, obviously. It's a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing with some charcoal pencil and color pencil used minimally. It has turned out to be rather a minimal day though I am keeping warm listening to Red Krayola, amongst others. It's Original Jones Art's way of spending a quiet Holiday in northwest Austin, Texas. My neighbors left me a store bought pumpkin pie this morning which I partially downed with coffee. Made it seem a little more holiday-ish. Thanks Meg, David and James!

This is a very powerful image for me, I find myself looking at this and feeling alone. Though I am surrounded by family, I still feel alone. I'm not sure why, perhaps it's my mental illness flaring up due to flashbacks or something else. Either way, your work is always amazing and just touches my heart. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing work. I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving my friend.

Artist Reply: I'm glad you like it, Rick. I almost didn't upload it as I thought it a bit too rough around the edges. But then, on second thought, I figured that could be a plus instead of a negative. The day was quiet though I did augment it with some self-curated music, if there is such a thing. :)
