I started one drawing and discarded it. I finished a second, scanned it but found I wasn't entirely happy with it. I then worked on this drawing and thought it, at least, presentable. This is a 9 by 5.5 inches gel pen drawing with just a dash of acrylic paint marker. I thought better of the marker AFTER the fact which, as we all know, is a little late. So what's Original Jones Art going to do as the end of the year folds under the weight of the Holidays? Ah, that would be telling and so many remain mum here in northwest Austin, Texas.

A reminder of a certain portrait of a revolutionary kind of Trotski without glasses or beard. What matters most it triggers associations , no matter what, unconsciously, though,

Artist Reply: Yes, I can see why you'd say that, Nikolay. Hope you and family are doing fine. :)

Yes, an interesting contrast.

In this art piece I see dissimilarities, differences and opposites! Charles, I’m glad the third time was the charm, my friend!! It’s as plain as day!!!!;)

Artist Reply: I don't usually like 'thinking' too much while drawing and I had that problem yesterday. Too much thinking. Anyway, I see several areas that could be better but it stands on its own feet, I think, Mark. Hope all is well. :)

Cool study ! I like how you separated the face and the dark shadowing. Also you certainly have the cross hatching down : )

Artist Reply: Yes, Dave, I tried to keep much of the piece a simple line drawing without a lot of 'fill-in.' It worked pretty well, over-all. Hope you are doing great. :)
