This is a remnant from the late 80's which has been on my refrigerator with the help of a magnet for over a decade, by my reckoning. I had salvaged it by cutting out the sky area. Well, I honestly don't remember how badly done the sky was. Thought this might be an interesting comparison lesson for those who are keeping up with what I've been doing lately. It's acrylic on heavy duty paper measuring 9.5 by 8.5 inches. Yeah, like I've said, Original Jones Art has been developing his shtick for quite awhile now, most of it in northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: Thanks, Ray! I hope you had a good Christmas day yesterday. I had some friends stop by, visit and take me out to eat---which was an adventure in itself. :)

Very colorful. Very original. Very unusual. Like the way you positioned the feller. Always interesting and fun to see your work!

Artist Reply: I liked the remnant well enough to hold on to it all these years, Ginger. BUT if you were to enter my humble abode, you'd see I have a tendency to hold on to certain things. No, not a classic hoarder but I could show you the portrait I did of my brother using mom's nail varnish, model airplane paint and whatever else I could scrounge. My brother, as I remember, was not enthused and wrote something rather vulgar on the back. This was probably mid-Sixties. :)
