Anticipation is something that, prolonged, can make for more pleasure or satisfaction than the thing anticipated. This is not exactly news if you've lived long enough and do a bit of thinking between labor and leisure. Anticipation is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil on medium bond acid-free paper. Yes, Original Jones Art is being rather thoughtful during the last hours of yet a another year of socializing delayed here in northwest Austin, Texas.

I anticipated the fact that you would create this character face before the end of 2021,…and it’s very clear in his expression that something good will happen in 2022!
