The old cliche is 'everything looks different in the light of day.' But what does that really mean? Does it mean we can SEE things better in a stronger light and thus interpret it differently? That one has always puzzled me a bit. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing on medium bond toned paper. I also used color pencil and some white acrylic marker. I've been working on a new painting series called 'Words.' But the weather has not permitted me to take decent pics yet. So maybe the light of day isn't quite strong enough for Original Jones Art here in northwest Austin, Texas.

i agree with Dave ........but i never see a sky with lines in iit guess need to pay more attention to the sky LOL :P

Nice color choice ... and textured sky ... yes the light of day ... I depend on it to see colors with a full spectrum of light. Cool work, Charles : )

Artist Reply: I went out today and stood against the house as they sun was out. I liked doing that when I was kid on cold days. You appreciate the heat of the sun differently on a day like that. Or I did/do. Thanks, Dave!
