A VALLEYS grandmother who battled breast cancer twice has been named fundraiser of the year after helping to raise £850,000 for a cancer charity. Liz Sullivan, 64, from Ebbw Vale was named as Charity Fundraiser of the Year at the Real People Awards, held at the Celtic Manor, for all her charity work in the nine years since her first diagnosis. Following her first diagnosis in 2001, Mrs Sullivan, of Libanus Road, helped found the In the Pink charity, which raises money for breast cancer research at the Velindre Hospital, Cardiff University, and Tenovus.
