I spent most of today working on my computer to get it back and functional. There was a brown-out during the night that it didn't enjoy. Also my BIOS battery bit the dust simultaneously so I had to replace that. It reminded me a little of my old job of repairing and maintaining lots of PC's. And it also reminded me that I'm happily not doing that anymore. I can only wonder what shape that school is in technologically as well as logically, since there always seemed a dearth of that on campus at any given moment.
