The way the birds are chirping and singing around here you'd think they really love to celebrate spring. A dove must have perched just outside my window this morning because he or she woke me up. I will admit I am a light sleeper though. This is a 6 by 4 inches gel pen drawing with color pencil on medium bond acid-free paper. Celebration is another in a long line of pieces Original Jones Art does like there's no tomorrow here in northwest Austin, Texas.

Bird is the word , Charles ...in my little backyard, the sparrows, and mocking birds sing up a storm in my lemon tree . I like your use of red, also the texture and shading. Very cool ! : )

Artist Reply: Thanks, Dave! The mockingbirds are really warbling in our neighborhood---the best singers we have. Grackles screech and the doves coo; it's the best they can do. :)
