No matter how disconnected one might feel from the mainstream., existing outside of society isn't an easy thing to do. Humans are, by nature, social creatures and solitary confinement, whether other-inflicted or self-inflicted, isn't good for the psyche or the soul. This is a 7.75 by 4 inches envelope drawing which I cut out like one would a paper doll. I think it makes an interesting image of isolation. Well, that's Original Jones Art for you. He's always cogitating away here in the northwest corner of Austin, Texas.

Great sentiment and work : )

Artist Reply: My mind sometimes seems a melding of a blackhole and a wormhole, Dave. It takes me lightyears away yet somehow still leaves me in the dark. Thanks! :)

He doesn't appear to be missing his floating Cloud ,which seems to follow him where ever he goes,

Artist Reply: Once humans are without clouds, they are without water. Once humans are without water, they are essentially the walking dead. My figures usually inhabit a landscape with a cloud since that is what all of us do, Al. Sooner than later, we'll all be learning the rain dance because we find it easier to slip back into myth and superstition than to look at things as they are. Planet Earth may have the last laugh after all. :)
