Everything is a commodity to be bought and sold these days. Everything. This is a 6.5 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. This was created with these measurements to fit yet another pre-cut matted frame I have lying about. What I'm gearing up for is anyone's guess, though the Artspace Gallery did send out a call for entries recently---the first time since February 2020. So maybe Original Jones Art is gearing up for something tangible here in northwest Austin, Texas. Well, I can hope, can't I?

Artist Reply: Well, there are a lot of under-valued commodities lying about. I may as well count myself among them, Ray. Now don't get me started on those that are so over-inflated, they have a deathly fear of being pricked by a pin. ;)
