Folks have a tendency to take what they see on the surface as being all there is; the truth of it. But life is closer to being an artichoke than we'd like to think. If we like to think, that is. We polish that surface enough and all we see is ourselves looking back. This is a 6.75 by 4.75 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Yep, it's Original Jones Art alright and he's still dug in here in northwest Austin, Texas.

Cool Charles ... one could take it as face value although there's more to value here : )

Artist Reply: With all these faces, don't you think I've probably titled one 'At Face Value' at least once. Of course, I have. Thanks! :)

Nice one Charles, Love the profile face within the face.

Artist Reply: I used to put a lot more into a face than a simple countenance back in the early days, Mark. This is just something that adds itself occasionally as a nod (if not a wink) to those days. Thanks!
