You are correct. I don't usually upload work that is absolutely abstract. I usually find non-objective work somewhat disconnected and unsatisfying. But this small piece harkens back to some of my looser work and I rather like it. This is a 6.5 by 4.5 inches color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. It's not so much teaching Original Jones Art 'new' tricks as looking back across the wide expanse of memory in northwest Austin, Texas.

Awesome piece, but i got disagree with as far you doing abstract i seen enough of you artto safely say you do do abstract artwork and argue about you here what have too Charles blah blah blah;p have nice and peaceful day Mr Charles

Artist Reply: I have bounced around over the years, Ray, as regards my own style. There are a lot of folks who 'do' abstract expressionistic type work because it's the easiest, or they think. In truth, to do something along that vein that doesn't look derivative is very difficult. Personally, I'd rather not exist on a diet of warmed over 70 year=old hash. :)
