Today's effort is a little hummingbird that has been visiting our feeder out back. He's a thirsty guy and inspired me to try something different. I put down the background first with soft pastel chalk and then added the HB.

Beautiful art and colors used JD. Your artwork here also immediately brings to my mind one of my favorite 1970s songs- Hummingbird- sung by Seals & Crofts (1973). :)
