Early work: 1985. Watercolour. 35CM X 50CM.

I paint this painting when I was a student, not for any specific lesson, but in order to create a group of drawings about musical instruments.
A time in my life when I gradually replaced playing music with painting and design.
In this painting:
An old alto saxophone.
During the time that my father was studying music, he purchased a number of used musical instruments from his music teacher.
This saxophone is one of them.
This saxophone was used by my father, who played and also performed with it at dance parties,
for the "Rum Cola Society". (early 60's.. and perhaps before)

Later this saxophone was used by my brother.

Thanks for visiting.
Stay safe healthy & happy
