Dissecting the Opponent

In this chess pencil work, i wanted to create a dissected feel to the components within chess. I have turned pieces upside down, split them apart, and fused all the elements together with color and the break down of form. A face within the pieces is also upside down symbolizing the reverse psychology neccessary to achieving the upper hand in chess. Thnaks for looking. Copyright 2005 by Imaginative Pencil and myself. Thought provoking work of art with wonderful use of color. Made me smile, though I haven't played chess in years.
