Wupatki Ruins - Architectural Detail

The Wupatki Ruins are located in northern Arizona, just north of Sunset Crater. There are a number of sites. These were originally occupied by the Sinagua (the word is Spanish for "without water") No one knows what happened to them, and how they managed to survive in such a barren place is also a mystery. In the immediate area, there is only grass and a few small shrubs. This picture shows the remaining part of a home. © Pat Goltz Thank you for your comments. I greatly appreciate them!
